This story is dedicated to the Landscape Photographers who inspired my journey…
During high school I discovered that Art classes were my favorite subject. We would study the history of art and techniques indoors and then we would go outside to Nature to paint.
Years went by and I started working in Marketing in the typical 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. job in an office. Adult life left no room for anything besides work. I became busier and distant from Nature and Art. I remained always indoors working on my computer.
Later on, social media became popular. One day navigating on the internet I discovered people who took landscape photographs. As I scrolled each photo I became fascinated by it. Each photo was a piece of art. The colors, the shades, but most importantly, the emotion each pictured evoked. I found myself spending hours appreciating the beauty of Nature caught by these photographers. And as time went by, this inspired me to take my own pictures. I did not always had the opportunity to travel to remote places and landscapes, like they did, so my own garden became the place to rehearse my artistic traits.
It was thanks to these landscape photographers (they know who they are) that inspired me and reminded me who I really was: an artistic soul. It was the Power of their photos, that awoke me to the real me. These landscape photographers were showing me more than a beautiful landscape, they were showing me another type of lifestyle I did not know existed. It was life changing: I no longer work in the Corporate world.
So please go into your computer, and look around those stored images that you have not yet shared, because you think they are not perfect or not good enough and share them. Because you never know whose life you are going to change forever with your photo. It could be someone from the other side of the world, that you have never met.
That is the Power of sharing your photo. The power of changing lives!
